1. AIRO/CSO 2011 National Census Mapping Viewer (click here)

This mapping viewer displays the results from the 2011 Census and includes 130+ variables on total population, religion, nationality, social class, education, principal economic status, occupation, industry of employment, transport, communications, housing, health and disability.. Variables are mapped at both ED and SA spatial scales. Users can click on individual areas on the map which will open a pop up that provides additional information.

Regional

2. Regional Authority Census Modules (select from list below)

Regional Authority Mapping Modules have been produced for all regional authorities (8) within the Republic of Ireland. An additional mapping module has also been developed for the Greater Dublin Area (GDA). Data is available at Electoral Division level (ED) within each module. The data used in these mapping modules is from the 2002 and 2006 census and now also includes the results from the Census 2011 Principal Demographic Results.

The following main themes are available in the module: Population, Marital Status, Religion, Economic Status, Industry, Housing, Housing Vacancy, Households, Social Class, Socio-Economic Group, Education, Transpor

3. Local Authority Census Modules (select from list below)

Local Authority Mapping Modules have been produced for all local authorities (34) within the Republic of Ireland. Data is available at Electoral Division level (ED) within each module and the new Small Areas (SAs) boundaries. The data used in these mapping modules is from the 2006 and 2011 Census.

4. Local Authority Mapping Modules - HTML

Local Authority Mapping Modules are now available to view in a HTML format. This allows users to view the entire results from the Census 2011 Principle Demographic Results across a variety of platforms which now includes smart phones and tablets. Data is available at Electoral Division level (ED) and Small Area (SA).
